Terms of Service
The rules and responsibilities for using Veri-Date and its community feedback system.
Last updated: May 2026
1. Purpose of Veri-Date
Veri-Date is a privacy-first community safety platform that allows users to search for anonymized community feedback linked to hashed email addresses or phone numbers. Veri-Date is not a dating platform, escort platform, marketplace, background check service, identity verification service, private investigation service, or law enforcement tool.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Veri-Date, users agree to comply with these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and any applicable platform rules. If a user does not agree with these terms, they must not use the platform.
3. Eligibility and accounts
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity occurring under their account. Veri-Date may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate platform rules, misuse the service, or create security, legal, or abuse risks.
4. Community-generated information
Content submitted on Veri-Date is generated by users. Veri-Date does not guarantee that community feedback is complete, accurate, up to date, representative, or independently verified. Users must exercise their own judgment before relying on any information displayed on the platform.
5. User responsibilities
Users agree to submit only truthful, respectful, relevant, and privacy-safe feedback based on genuine personal experience. Users must not submit personal addresses, full names, phone numbers, email addresses, document details, exact locations, social media accounts, threats, discriminatory content, explicit personal data, defamatory material, or fabricated feedback.
6. Prohibited use
Veri-Date must not be used for harassment, doxxing, blackmail, stalking, discrimination, public shaming, unlawful profiling, retaliation, coordinated abuse, platform manipulation, or any illegal activity. Accounts may be suspended or terminated for misuse.
7. Privacy-safe identifiers
Email addresses and phone numbers used for search or feedback matching may be converted into hashed identifiers before storage. Users must not attempt to expose, reconstruct, publish, or misuse private identifiers or other personal information.
8. Moderation
Veri-Date may review, restrict, remove, or otherwise moderate content that violates platform rules, appears abusive, includes personal information, appears fabricated, or creates legal, privacy, safety, or platform integrity risks. Users may report reviews for moderation.
9. Account suspension and enforcement
Veri-Date may issue warnings, limit features, suspend accounts, permanently terminate accounts, remove content, or take other enforcement actions where users violate these terms, abuse the platform, submit harmful content, attempt to bypass limits, interfere with platform security, or misuse payment systems.
10. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans may provide higher search limits, more visible reviews, and additional access features. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription changes, cancellations, failed payments, chargebacks, or billing issues may affect access to premium features.
11. No refunds unless required by law
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated by Veri-Date, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once access to paid features has been provided. Users remain responsible for managing their subscription before renewal.
12. No safety guarantee
Veri-Date provides community-generated feedback and trust-related indicators only. It does not guarantee safety, identity verification, criminal history checks, personal reliability, future behavior, or the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any community feedback. Users remain responsible for their own safety decisions.
13. No professional advice
Information displayed on Veri-Date is provided for community awareness purposes only and does not constitute legal, safety, investigative, professional, or law enforcement advice.
14. Platform availability
Veri-Date may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features at any time, including for maintenance, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or product development reasons.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veri-Date and its operator are not liable for user-generated content, user decisions, reliance on community feedback, unavailable services, third-party services, or indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, or financial losses arising from use of the platform.
16. Third-party services
Veri-Date may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, database infrastructure, payment processing, deployment, and security. Veri-Date is not responsible for interruptions, errors, or policies of third-party providers outside its reasonable control.
17. Changes to these terms
Veri-Date may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published means that the user accepts the updated terms.
