Subscription & consumer information
Subscription Terms & Withdrawal Policy
Contractual information concerning Veri-Trust paid plans, billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and consumer withdrawal rights.
Last updated: July 2026
Important consumer information
Paid Veri-Trust plans are monthly subscriptions renewed automatically until cancelled. Consumers may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right. Requesting immediate access does not automatically remove that right, but the consumer may owe a proportionate amount for the service already supplied before withdrawal.
1. Operator and contracting party
The Veri-Trust platform and its paid subscriptions are operated and supplied by Collier Consulting Company SARL.
Collier Consulting Company SARL is a French limited liability company with a share capital of €200.
Registered office: 128 rue La Boétie, 75008 Paris, France.
SIREN and Paris Trade and Companies Register number: 850 065 475 RCS Paris.
VAT identification number: FR89850065475.
General contact: contact@veri-trust.app.
Billing and subscription support: support@veri-trust.app.
2. Scope of these terms
These Subscription Terms & Withdrawal Policy apply to paid Veri-Trust subscriptions purchased by consumers or professional users through the Veri-Trust website.
They supplement the Veri-Trust Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Moderation Policy, Cookie Policy, and other applicable platform rules.
Where a mandatory consumer protection rule conflicts with these terms, the mandatory legal rule prevails.
3. Available subscriptions
Veri-Trust may offer several paid subscription levels, including Starter, Premium, and VIP.
Each plan may provide different daily search limits, numbers of visible reviews, feedback-submission limits, reporting features, safety alerts, moderation priority, or future platform functionality.
The features included in each plan are described on the Pricing page before purchase.
Features described as future, planned, experimental, beta, or coming soon are not guaranteed to remain available and do not form an essential contractual commitment unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Prices and taxes
The applicable subscription price is displayed on the Pricing page and during the Stripe checkout process before the user confirms payment.
Unless otherwise indicated, displayed consumer prices are expressed in euros and include any applicable taxes required to be included in the displayed price.
The price charged, applicable billing interval, selected plan, and payment amount are confirmed during checkout.
The user is responsible for reviewing the selected plan and price before confirming the order.
5. Formation of the subscription contract
The subscription contract is formed when the user selects a paid plan, reviews the required pre-contractual information, accepts the applicable contractual terms, confirms any required consumer declarations, and completes the Stripe checkout process.
The final payment button must clearly indicate that confirming the order creates an obligation to pay.
The subscription is subject to successful payment authorization and confirmation from the payment provider.
Veri-Trust may refuse or cancel a subscription where payment is rejected, the transaction appears fraudulent, the user is not eligible to use the platform, or the transaction violates applicable law or platform rules.
6. Electronic confirmation
After successful subscription, the user should receive or have access to confirmation of the selected plan, price, billing frequency, subscription status, and applicable contractual information on a durable medium.
The user should retain the subscription confirmation and the version of the terms applicable on the subscription date.
The user is responsible for providing and maintaining a valid email address for contractual, billing, security, and subscription communications.
7. Immediate activation
Paid features are normally activated shortly after Stripe confirms successful payment and Veri-Trust updates the user’s subscription status.
By requesting activation during the statutory withdrawal period, a consumer expressly asks Veri-Trust to begin supplying the service before the end of that period.
Immediate activation does not, by itself, eliminate the consumer’s withdrawal right for an ongoing service contract.
Where the consumer validly withdraws after requesting immediate performance, Veri-Trust may charge a proportionate amount corresponding to the part of the service supplied before the withdrawal request, where permitted by applicable law.
8. Subscription duration
Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout, paid Veri-Trust subscriptions are concluded for an initial period of one month.
The subscription provides access to the selected paid features during the applicable paid billing period, subject to these terms and the platform rules.
A subscription does not create any right of ownership over the platform, software, databases, community feedback, or Veri-Trust intellectual property.
9. Automatic renewal
Unless cancelled, the subscription renews automatically for successive monthly billing periods.
At each renewal, the payment method associated with the Stripe subscription may be charged the price applicable to the selected plan.
The renewal date is generally based on the original subscription date or the billing date recorded by Stripe.
A failed or delayed payment may alter the effective renewal date or the user’s access to paid features.
10. Cancellation by the subscriber
The subscriber may cancel the subscription at any time through the subscription-management functionality made available from the Veri-Trust dashboard or Stripe customer portal.
The electronic cancellation functionality must be free of charge.
After a valid cancellation request, the subscriber should receive confirmation on a durable medium indicating that the request was received and stating the effective end date of the subscription.
Unless otherwise stated during cancellation or required by law, cancellation stops future renewals but does not immediately terminate access already paid for. Paid access normally remains available until the end of the current billing period.
The user should cancel before the next billing date to prevent the next renewal payment.
11. Difference between cancellation and withdrawal
Cancellation ends the automatic renewal of the subscription and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
Withdrawal is a statutory consumer right allowing an eligible consumer to withdraw from a distance contract within the applicable legal period.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically constitute a withdrawal request.
A consumer wishing to exercise the statutory withdrawal right must clearly communicate the decision to withdraw within the applicable period.
12. Statutory 14-day withdrawal right
A consumer who concludes a Veri-Trust subscription remotely may have the right to withdraw from the subscription contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days.
For a service contract, the withdrawal period normally begins on the day after the contract is concluded.
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for the consumer to send an unambiguous withdrawal statement before the withdrawal period expires.
The consumer may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but use of that form is not mandatory.
The withdrawal request may be sent to support@veri-trust.app or through another withdrawal mechanism expressly made available by Veri-Trust.
13. Express request for performance during the withdrawal period
Where immediate access to paid features is requested, Veri-Trust must obtain the consumer’s express request for the service to begin before the end of the withdrawal period.
This request must be distinct, clear, and recorded during the checkout or subscription process.
A pre-selected checkbox or a statement hidden only inside general terms should not be used as the sole evidence of the consumer’s express request.
The consumer must be informed that withdrawal after the service has begun may result in a proportionate charge for the service already supplied.
14. Effects of withdrawal
After receiving a valid withdrawal request, Veri-Trust will terminate or adjust the subscription and disable the corresponding paid access as appropriate.
Veri-Trust will reimburse payments received from the consumer within the period required by applicable law, normally no later than 14 days after being informed of the withdrawal decision.
The refund will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is expressly agreed.
Where the consumer expressly requested immediate performance, Veri-Trust may deduct or claim a proportionate amount for the service supplied before the withdrawal request, where legally permitted.
No proportionate amount is due where Veri-Trust failed to obtain the required express request for early performance or failed to provide legally required information concerning withdrawal and payment consequences.
15. Service fully performed during the withdrawal period
A service contract may lose its withdrawal right after the service has been fully performed only where all conditions required by applicable consumer law have been satisfied.
For a recurring monthly Veri-Trust subscription, providing immediate platform access does not ordinarily mean that the entire subscription service has already been fully performed.
Veri-Trust will therefore not treat simple activation or partial use of the subscription as automatically extinguishing the withdrawal right.
16. Refunds outside the statutory withdrawal right
Outside an applicable statutory withdrawal right, payments are not automatically refundable merely because the subscriber did not use all available searches, reviews, alerts, or other plan features.
A cancellation normally prevents future renewals but does not create an automatic refund for the current billing period.
Refunds may nevertheless be issued where required by law, where Veri-Trust charged an incorrect amount, where a duplicate payment occurred, where paid access was not supplied because of a Veri-Trust error, or where Veri-Trust expressly agrees to a refund.
Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights relating to non-conforming digital services, unavailable paid functionality, incorrect billing, or other consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Failed payments
If a payment fails, is refused, expires, or cannot be processed, Veri-Trust or Stripe may retry the payment where permitted and may notify the subscriber.
Paid features may be restricted, suspended, or returned to a lower access level until payment is successfully resolved.
The subscriber remains responsible for maintaining valid and current payment information.
Veri-Trust may terminate a subscription where payment remains outstanding or repeated payment attempts fail.
18. Chargebacks and payment disputes
A subscriber should first contact support@veri-trust.app to report an incorrect, duplicate, unauthorized, or disputed charge.
A chargeback initiated without a legitimate basis may lead to temporary restriction of the account while the payment dispute is investigated.
Veri-Trust may retain transaction, account, access, and communication records necessary to respond to payment disputes, prevent fraud, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising lawful rights with the payment provider or competent authorities.
19. Plan changes
A subscriber may be able to upgrade, downgrade, or change plans through the dashboard or Stripe customer portal where this functionality is available.
The price, effective date, prorated amount, credit, and access consequences of a plan change should be displayed or confirmed before the change is completed.
An upgrade may take effect immediately and may result in a prorated charge.
A downgrade may take effect immediately or at the end of the current billing period, depending on the information displayed during the change process.
20. Price changes
Veri-Trust may change subscription prices for future billing periods.
A price change affecting an existing subscription will be communicated clearly and in advance on a durable medium where required by applicable law.
The communication will specify the new price, the effective date, and the subscriber’s available cancellation rights.
A subscriber who does not accept the new price may cancel the subscription before the new price takes effect.
Price changes do not retroactively alter amounts already paid for a completed billing period.
21. Changes to subscription features
Veri-Trust may update, improve, replace, restrict, or discontinue subscription features for technical, security, legal, moderation, operational, or product-development reasons.
Material changes affecting essential paid functionality will be communicated where required by law.
Where a material change negatively affects an ongoing consumer subscription beyond what may reasonably be expected, the consumer retains any mandatory rights to terminate, obtain conformity, receive a price reduction, or pursue another applicable remedy.
22. Suspension or termination by Veri-Trust
Veri-Trust may restrict, suspend, or terminate a paid account where the user violates the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Moderation Policy, payment rules, security requirements, or applicable law.
Immediate action may be taken where necessary to prevent fraud, unauthorized access, harassment, unlawful content, manipulation, payment abuse, or harm to the platform or third parties.
Where suspension or termination is not caused by serious user misconduct, Veri-Trust will assess whether a prorated refund or another remedy is required by applicable law.
Termination for serious breach, fraud, abuse, chargeback fraud, or unlawful conduct does not automatically create a right to a refund.
23. Service availability
Veri-Trust aims to maintain reasonable availability but does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, provider incidents, security measures, moderation operations, force majeure, or technical failures.
Brief or minor interruptions do not automatically create a refund right.
A prolonged failure to supply essential paid functionality may entitle a consumer to remedies required by applicable law.
24. Consumer legal guarantees
Consumers may benefit from mandatory legal rights relating to the conformity and supply of digital services.
Veri-Trust must provide the paid digital service in accordance with the subscription contract and applicable consumer law.
Where the service is not supplied or does not conform to the contract, the consumer may be entitled to restoration of conformity, a price reduction, termination, reimbursement, or another statutory remedy depending on the circumstances.
These mandatory rights are not replaced or reduced by any commercial refund policy.
25. Professional customers
The statutory consumer rights described in these terms apply only to persons acting as consumers under applicable law.
A person subscribing mainly for a trade, business, craft, or professional purpose may not benefit from consumer withdrawal rights or consumer mediation rules.
Where a subscription is purchased by a professional user, mandatory business-to-business rules and the Veri-Trust contract terms remain applicable.
26. Personal data and payments
Subscription and billing data are processed as described in the Veri-Trust Privacy Policy and GDPR Information page.
Stripe processes payment information and may act as a data processor or an independent controller depending on the relevant processing activity.
Veri-Trust does not directly store full payment card details.
Billing, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legally required transaction records may be retained for the applicable legal periods.
27. Complaints
Questions or complaints concerning subscriptions, payments, cancellation, refunds, or withdrawal may be sent to support@veri-trust.app.
The subscriber should include the account email address, the plan concerned, the transaction date, and a clear description of the issue.
The subscriber should not send complete card numbers, card security codes, passwords, or unnecessary identity documents.
Veri-Trust will attempt to review the complaint and provide a reasoned response within a reasonable period.
28. Consumer mediation
After first submitting a written complaint directly to Veri-Trust and failing to resolve the dispute, an eligible consumer may use the services of the consumer mediator appointed by Collier Consulting Company SARL.
Consumer mediation is available free of charge to the consumer, subject to the applicable admissibility conditions.
Mediator to be inserted after formal appointment: [NAME OF APPOINTED CONSUMER MEDIATOR].
Postal address: [MEDIATOR POSTAL ADDRESS].
Website: [MEDIATOR WEBSITE].
These placeholders must be replaced with the details of the mediator formally appointed by Collier Consulting Company SARL before Veri-Trust is commercially launched.
29. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These subscription terms are governed by French law.
This choice of law does not deprive a consumer residing in another country of mandatory protections granted by the law that would apply in the absence of this choice.
Any dispute should first be submitted to Veri-Trust support and, where applicable, to the appointed consumer mediator.
Mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules remain applicable. Veri-Trust does not require consumers to bring proceedings exclusively before a court that cannot legally be imposed on them.
30. Changes to these subscription terms
Veri-Trust may update these terms to reflect legal, technical, payment, security, commercial, or product changes.
The updated version will be published with a revised update date.
Changes materially affecting an existing paid subscription will be notified in advance where required by law.
The version accepted when the subscription was concluded remains relevant to the billing period and transaction to which it applied, subject to mandatory legal changes.
